The Secret’s Out!

Mountainside Recreation Centre – The Place To PLAY This Summer!

One of Burlington’s “hidden gems” offering fun and play for the entire family and
an absolute MUST on your “to do” list this summer is Mountainside Recreation
Centre. This renovated facility and park is fully accessible and sporting a
refreshed new look that joins two buildings. The arena and outdoor pool are now
connected into one beautifully designed recreation centre that includes 2 new
community rooms, updated change rooms and much much more!

Mountainside Outdoor Pool, Splash Pad and Park!
Plan to spend the entire afternoon enjoying the warm summer sunshine. No
shortage of extreme fun! The 50 meter outdoor pool was ranked #2 in GTA and
features; 6 lanes, a 1 metre diving board, a double loop waterslide, shade structures,
and a splash park. The recreation centre is adjacent to Mountainside Park where
the entire family can also enjoy playing in the playground area, skateboard park
and nature trails. No need to pack a lunch, the indoor/outdoor concession area at
Mountainside Recreation Centre is a great place to grab a bite to eat.

Recreational swimming for the entire family, lap swimming for exercise and
swimming lessons are key activities offered throughout the summer at Mountainside
Outdoor Pool. Mountainside is also one of the many great locations for City’s Summer Neighbourhood Activity Program (SNAP Camp) and home to
Burlington’s newest space for youth and teens “No Socks For Ivan.”

The outdoor pool, arena and 2 community rooms (with full audio visual
presentation equipment and kitchen amenities) offers free WIFI and is available
for public rentals. If you are looking for a fun new place for a birthday party, a
corporate meeting or, if you are a program provider searching for a new space
to offer your program to the Burlington community, you will want to check out
Mountainside Recreation Centre.

Mountainside Recreation Centre, Outdoor Pool and Park is located just off
Brant Street at 2205 Mount Forest Drive in Burlington, Ontario.
